The Residence Manager is responsible for the implementation of the hostel rules directly with the assistance of the House Committee.
Duties & Responsibilities

The person is also responsible for the implementation of the various policies, boarding matters, student matters, administrative duties, discipline in the hostel, facilitation of leadership development of the House Committee and the renting out of the hostel during holiday periods.
Managing:
• Students
• Boarding
• Administration
• Meal system
• Managing cleaners
• Maintenance
• Liaise with university and contractors
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Bachelors Degree (NQF level 7) will be advantageous
• At least previous experience of managing any accommodation establishment
• Computer Literacy – MS Word, Excel, Access
• Financial skills – budgets, cost estimations
• Good organiser
• Excellent inter personal skills Project Management
