Introduction
A subsidiary of Strategic Partners Group, Isithimela Facilities Services, which provides cleaning and maintenance services is looking for a suitable High Rise Cleaner.
Ideally: the successful incumbent must have commercial and industrial cleaning background.
Minimum Qualifications/ Competencies are non-negotiable.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct high rise cleaning on a night shift basis.
Wash and clean interior and exterior windows on high rise and Low-Rise properties.
Assist with the maintenance, setting up and storage of high rise equipment and tools while meeting safety standards.
Complete assigned tasks safely and on schedule.
Maintain the high-rise standards of the company.
Ensure equipment is within relevant maintenance calibration/load testing standards and dates.
Conduct safety equipment inspection i.e. harness, ladders.
Conduct working at height pre-checks and inspections.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Must have Grade 12 (Matric), or equivalent.
Relevant working at heights qualification essential.
A valid Driver’s licence with 3 years driving experience would be advantageous.
Understanding of risks associated with working at height.
Knowledge of working with a portable scaffold.
Knowledge of fall arrest requirements i.e. anchor points, safety lines etc.
Health and safety awareness and adherence.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
