Nabi has confirmed offers from other clubs that could hinder him joining Kaizer Chiefs.
Interestingly, he has stated that he has confirmed offers from overseas clubs too.
CHIEFS-LINKED NABI CONFIRMS OVERSEAS OFFERS
Chiefs-linked Nabi recently confirmed that he has received other offers amidst Amakhosi interest.
Now, he has confirmed more interest from clubs based abroad.
“I have big offers from abroad. Kaizer Chiefs, yes but not only Kaizer Chiefs,” Nabi stated on iDiskiTimes.
Meaning, Chiefs face competition for his signature. Moreover, Nabi has not signed for the Soweto giants yet. Therefore, there is still time for Amakhosi management to consider other noteworthy options. Namely, PSL and SA football icons, Pitso Mosimane and Benni McCarthy. Meanwhile, a surprise Amakhosi legend has been linked with the Chiefs job. Finally, this former Orlando Pirates coach has submitted his CV to Amakhosi.
Therefore, despite all the reports pertaining to Nabi likely move to Chiefs. Nothing has even confirmed. Ultimately, he has several offers to consider and a season to wrap up with his club, AS FAR. So, Nabi and his club still have a Throne cup semi-final against Moghreb FC on 23 June.
PITSO MOSIMANE MOVE GAINS RENEWED HOPE
Nabi has confirmed other offers. Meanwhile, Mosimane has confirmed talks with Chiefs. Furthermore, he has hinted at future talks. Thus, opening the door to negotiations with Amakhosi. Furthermore, Mosimane is a free agent and he is back in South Africa. Therefore, if Nabi is lured by one of his other offers, Mosimane will likely become the new favourite for the Amakhosi hotseat. Moreover, Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates legend Benni McCarthy has hinted at joining Chiefs. McCarthy’s contract with Manchester United expires at the end of the season.
