Pitso Mosimane potential move Kaizer Chiefs is once again alive.
Pitso Mosimane to Kaizer Chiefs has garnered renewed hope. This comes after Nasreddine Nabi confirmed big offers abroad.
Moreover, Nabi confirmed that he is considering other offers besides Amakhosi. In fact, Nabi has not made a decision yet. Moreover, he has plenty of offers tabled for his services. Thus, re-opening the possibility to other candidates for the Chiefs hot seat, Namely, Mosimane.
NABI SHOCK UPDATE AMIDST AMAKHOSI LINKS
Nabi is still head coach of AS Far. Despite all the rumors doing the rounds (implying that he will be Chiefs’ next head coach), nothing has been confirmed.
Firstly, Nabi has not signed a contract with Amakhosi as yet. Secondly, he still has a season to finish with his side, AS FAR, set to compete in their Throne Cup semi-final on Sunday, 23 July. Finally, Nabi has several offers on the table. Therefore, once he has wrapped up the season with his club, he will make a decision on his next club.
“I will decide my future after the Throne Cup competition. I will meet with the president and decide my future,” Nabi stated on iDiskiTimes.
Meaning, he will only sit down and consider these offers when he has finished his campaign with AS FAR. Additionally, if his side win and progress to the final then he is unlikely to leave. So, this is another key factor that could determine his future with Amakhosi set to announce their new head coach soon.
MOSIMANE TO CHIEFS GAINS RENEWED HOPE
Meanwhile, Mosimane is in South Africa as a free agent.
Interestingly, Mosimane has confirmed talks with Chiefs. Meanwhile, Pitso has opened the door to future talks (negotiations) with Amakhosi. Ultimately, this is the Soweto giants best chance of signing Mosimane yet. He has been linked with them for several seasons.
However, this time is very different. Unlike previous ‘links’, this time around Mosimane is aware of the reports linking him to Chiefs and he has been responsive to it. Seemingly, inviting an offer from Amakhosi. Previously, he did not mention Chiefs. Meaning, it was purely speculative. This time, he is one of the front-runners and now it will come down to what Nabi decides.
